Usage
Use the Spinner to make quick decisions with various options like Yes/No/Maybe, Yes/No only, simulate dice rolls and many more.
You can customize your experience further by choosing multiple spins and tally the results. You can export your outcomes for further review.
Fairness and Probability
Is our spinner fair? When every section is the same size, each option has an equal chance of being chosen. We call this a fair spinner.
With 4 equal sections, the probability of any one section is 14 (or 25%).
Try an experiment: Set the spinner to 4 colors and spin it 100 times.
Will it land on Red exactly 25 times? Give it a try and discover!
This shows us the difference between:
- theoretical probability (what should happen in theory)
- experimental probability (what actually happens when we test it)
